POLL: Wagashi
Would you be interested in a wagashi/tea themed giveaway?
I don’t know if many of you do Cha no Yu, but if you do…
It would be a chance every couple of months where I would give away seasonal dry sweets, most likely pressed sugar varieties, that correlate with the seasons in tea. And perhaps some neat little tea things (like seasonal kaishi (sweets papers) etc.) I find in Kyoto?

annajapanna asked: Wow, this is amazing! I love wagashi and I was in the sadoubu of my Japanese high school (also urasenke I believe). How did you come up with the idea of seriously studying sadou in Kyoto? すごく偉いだと思います!
Anonymous asked: Hey, hope you're doing well and you get over your cold quickly. I'm enjoying reading about everything...I climbed Mt Hiei too and when I saw your photos it brought back a lot of memories. Also, loved the chakai by the river. Great idea. It's nice to see you're more involved with the gakuen students. One lil suggestion- could you give an english translation of the poetic...
